How fast is it.
4SIWI currently offers four tiers of service.
Is there a limit to how much I can download?
Absolutely not, it is yours to use 24hrs a day 7 days a week. We DO NOT participate
in fair use like many of the cell phone and satellite internet companies.
Do I need a phone line?
No, the service is wireless to your home or business.
Is this satellite internet?
NO, our system is based on land based towers in and around the Southern Illinois
area which makes it superior to satellite in many ways..
How many computers can I hook up?
Multiple devices can be hooked up to the same connection with the purchase
of a router.
What kind of equipment is involved?
Typically 4SIWI will install an antenna and a radio outside of your house and
an indoor power unit. You will be provided with one Ethernet connection to
the internet (much like cable or DSL)
Can I install it myself?
Not at this time. To ensure the quality of your service and the integrity of
our network the installation must be done by a 4SIWI technician.
Is it secure?
Extremely. All data is AES encrypted to 128 bits before it passes through the
air. This equipment is similar to the equipment used by banks and other financial
institutions.
Do trees affect my signal?
Typically trees are not an issue, but several trees between you and the tower
can cause an issue. The installer is very careful to ensure trees will not
be an issue at the time of install..
Does weather affect my signal?
Typically weather does not affect the signal or performance of you internet.
The one exception is ICE. Ice on antennas and trees do affect the transmission
of wireless internet.
How does it hook up to my computer?
You will be given one 10/100 Ethernet connection to the internet with you basic
install. This is compatible with almost all computers manufactured in the
last 15 years. You may also purchase a wireless router and connect multiple
devices.
Does it work with my laptops wireless card (is it WIFI)?
NO. Our towers are based on proprietary technology; however you may connect
our equipment to a wireless router and create your own private wireless network
in your home or business.
Is it fast enough for video streams like Youtube,Hulu, Prime, and Netflix?
Our service supports sustained speeds needed to view online videos. Some sites require our silver or gold package to stream without buffering.

How much does it cost to get started?
$89 to get it installed and activated by a 4siwi technician at your home or business..
YOU DON'T PAY A DIME UNTIL THE SERVICE IS
INSTALLED AND WORKING.
Is there a contract?
Yes, there is a 2 year contract that may be terminated at any time for $85.
My friend/family/neighbor recommended your service to me. Is their a discount program for referring customers?
Yes, if someone refers a customer we will give them both
a credit on
their first bill.
How do I sign up?
Contact 4SIWI during our regular business hours and speak to a representative.
If service is available in your area a technician will be scheduled to test
for a signal and if approved you will be installed at the same time.
